SOCHI, February 14, 2014 - The Belarussian princess of biathlon has entered in the legend of the Olympic as the first woman gold medallist in the entire Belarussian Winter Olympic Games history. After her achievement in the 10km pursuit the 27 years old athlete repeats her self in the 15km individuals becoming half a legend.

Darya was born august 3, 1986 in Belarus but soon she has moved to Russia: this is the reason because she has lot of fans not just in her national country but also in the host country for the Games. "She is a very funny athlete, now she has become an idol because of the medal but it has also happened her some trivial mistake in the shooting position - they say about her - her reaction after this comic situation are always like "Ups..I'm sorry.." but always showing her delicate smile.

After the 1st gold obtained in the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi the Belarussian athlete has come out to the public zone and have been assaulted by the fans: flowers and pictures but also people that wanted to touch even a little part of her: "She has been really scared about this enthusiasm - they confirm from the Belarussian National Team - actually she doesn't want to find herself again in that situation, she's really a simple girl focused on the sport and with human values".

"Her coach comes from Germany, he is a very polite person and has helped a lot our girls and Darya in the shooting technique - they say from Belarussian tea - unfortunately he is seriously ill, that's way we have decided to bring here two coaches, we don't know exactly if he's going to need some special treatment during the Games, the medals are also for him".
