The 85mm is the most useful type of lens if you need to do a portrait: to the nature, to the people, to the food…It lets you focus the attention on the essence of the subject that you choose putting out of focus the background. In the sample photos that I put down here you can see how powerful is this kind of lens. 

If you want, and you are an expert user, this kind of lens let you define the power of the focus using both the automatic or manual focus: you can set the full-time manual focus or chose o be more precise using both autofocus and manual focus.  A great opportunity that this camera gives to you is the i-Function: you have the I-effect mode (to select scenes or filter effects that your Samsung Galaxy NX supports) or the I-zoom mode (that allows you to zoom in on a subject with less degradation of photo quality than the Digital zoom).
